SKMA (School of Korean Martial Arts) is a friendly and vibrant Korean Martial Arts school dedicated to promoting and developing health and well-being by way of physical and mental training.

We provide quality personal development training in Hapkido. Our vast syllabus is beneficial and ideal for every one of all ages and abilities, and we offer flexible programs which are specifically designed to cater for your needs.

We have a strong affiliation with, and offer internationally recognised martial arts certifications from Korea Hapkido Federation, Korea Hapkido Total Federation, World Kummooyeh Federation, and Kukkiwon (the World Taekwondo Federation Headquarters).

SKMA started teaching Hapkido in Durham, the UK in 1998 by establishing Durham University Hapkido Club. It opened schools in London in 2007 and where it reorganised structure.

In addition to promoting Korean Martial Arts training within the UK, Europe, Korea and the US, our instructors have held seminars and demonstrations across the world including in the UK, Australia, Germany, France, Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic and the US.
